This course will aim to explore the main quantitative methods that have been employed by biologists and fisheries for assessing the state of exploitation of fisheries resources, with emphasis on application through advanced computational methods. Specifically, the course will focus on the description and use of the AD Model Builder (ADMB) programming package.
